Client: Friends of
Bailey Hill
Location: Bailey Hill, Mold
Â
Product Description: We installed the new Bailey park and redeveloped the existing park. The work was carried out while the main area stayed open to the public.
Â
We carried out all of the groundworks to prepare the site. This included bases for the play equipment and benches. We installed all of the play equipment, installed safe landing mats throughout the site. Our fabricators made the posts and panels to the clients specification. Our team then installed the posts in the exact position set out on the redevelopment plan. This was to ensure we were working in line with tree protection orders and not disturbing the roots of the protected trees, whilst under the supervision of archaeologists while working at the historic site.
Â
Finally we carried out the landscaping of the area, including planting, turfing, laying seed and barking areas. One of the particular challenges of this job was the access to get the equipment and material to the top of hill. Our team liaised with local groups and people to minimise disruption.
